Bloccs Waterproof Cast Cover, Child Arm

This cover absolutely SAVED our summer! Perfect for showers, beach, water slides, swimming, etc. thick material so it doesn’t tear easy. My son is almost 6 with a bicep circumference of 8.5” and a medium was not too tight or too loose. It was a tad long but bicep area was the perfect fit! 100% recommend!

This cast cover saved my daughter's summer. She wore it every time she went into the lake (which was a lot) and never had any leaks! The top stayed tight even after 30+ times of use. I was skeptical at first and not wanting to spend that much on something that *might* work, but very glad I did.

This saved our summer. I bought the medium and large and had to return the large but the medium was absolutely perfect. He was able to swim fully submerged but I would recommend not letting them jump in the pool/water with it on. At one point we did get a little damp at the top but nothing that required a re cast. Would re purchase in a heart beat if needed to. Be sure to have your child take a break every 30 minutes or so for circulation reasons. My son never complained about the breaks because this item is indeed water tight.

This cast cover exceeded our expectations! It kept my 11 year old son’s cast completely dry while he swam in the pool, played in the ocean, and showered every day without a single issue. It created a great seal, stayed securely in place, and was comfortable to wear. We never had to worry about water getting inside, which made recovering while on vacation so much easier. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who needs to keep a cast or bandage dry—it’s worth every penny!

This product worked wonders for my daughter!! I’d recommend. Think of a swim cap but for your arm. No water seeped through any time she used. I was nervous at first but once she spent a whole day in a pool with it, I knew it was a great product. Thick and durable.

It got us through the end of summer! We had it on the boat, we had it in the pool, and we had it in the bath. Highly recommend. It kept my sons cast dry. Only writing review now because I’m recommending to a friend.

It’s really works. My 6 year old daughter broke her elbow a week and a half before trip to Maui. She had to have pins placed to stabilize the fracture and was in a full arm cast. We considered canceling the vacation since Maui is mostly water activities but decided to try this product. It saved our trip and worked as advertised. We swam daily in the ocean and in the pool and water never got in at all. The only bit of moisture was from sweat as it’s does not allow the arm to breath so you have to take it every hour or two then dry it inside out. I used a sweat band on the top for extra protection (because of the pin holes) but it was always dry when I took it off. It’s a bit tough to get on but it has to tight on top and fit well, my daughter is a bigger 6 year old and used a kids medium, I totally recommend the product and thank them.

5++ star review for this product!! My 11 year old broke his arm a week before we were going to Florida! We had a lot of things planned including snorkeling. He didn’t want to miss out so we decided to order this cast guard. It didn’t leak at all even with daily pool trips, snorkeling and swimming in the ocean.

Would highly recommend this product! My daughter (7 year old) broke her arm about 2 weeks before our beach trip. I purchased this hoping she wouldn't have to miss out on anything. She played in the sand, swam in the ocean (even diving under waves!), swam in our pool (doing flips under water, doing cannonballs, etc!), and chilled in the hot tub. It never leaked once and kept sand out of her cast! When she went back to the Dr and had it cut off, there was no sand in the cast and you could tell it stayed good and dry!

Im currently on vacation and my child is in the pool with this on as I type. I had doubts because of pricing but I love it. It saved our vacation by providing safety for the cast and giving my child reassurance that she can go in the pool- full arm. Our second day using it and 3x times taking it off. It is tight at the top arm but nothing uncomfortable for my 5yo. I did get it big and it still works. My child is 5 I should have gotten a small (got a med) but overall still great. We do push air out after we put it on. Worth it!

I confidently give this product 5 stars! We went to the beach, the water park in Orlando, and the pool at home! And no water got in. I'm amazed at how well it worked for us. The only time I felt something damp (not wet) on his arm was at the beach, but it was already extreme. Playing in the waves, the cover curled up a little bit around his arm, but it never came off. I dried his arm with a blower on cold air and that was it! I bought it on Medium. My son weighs 55 lbs and is 7 years old.

My daughter has had a left arm cast for 6 weeks of summer which where we live summer is a short season! She had two pool parties two days before she could get her cast off and was desperate to go. We got this cast cover and she wore it for 6 hours. There was condensation inside after the six hours from the humidity where we live but no excess water. The top didn’t lay flat but rolled on itself but didn’t leave a constriction mark (she had one red area maybe an inch long where it rolled and laid but it went away within 30 minutes). She was so excited to get to get in the pool finally and said it was the best day. Thankful for this cast cover!

This product is absolutely amazing!!! My daughter fractured her arm 2 days before leaving for a cruise. The doctor told her that she couldn’t swim at all. I was determined to find something so she could still do everything we had planned on doing! She swam in the pools and in the ocean and it kept her cast 100% dry!! She even swam with dolphins without a drop of water getting to her cast! Totally saved our summer vacation!

If you want to salvage summer with your little one that broke their wrist/arm this is the product to buy! This splint/cast cover is AMAZING..... literally buy it right now. Not a single droplet of water got inside this. My daughter went swimming in our pool, she went to the lake, she took a bath etc. It is legitimately waterproof. I was so excited I bought a second one just in case. For reference my daughter is nine and she has relatively thin arms and the medium fit her perfect. I got the large just in case, I feel like that size is more for a tween. I literally can't say enough good things about this.

This product is worth a review. I have never written a review about anything before, but this cover has saved our summer. Our daughter broke her arm in the spring and it had to be recasted for a month of the summer. I read a lot of reviews from both this company and another well-known company. The reason I selected this one was based on the ability to return the item if needed. I think measuring and getting the right size is a must for it to work. We also suck out the extra air with a straw so that it is tight against the cast. Our daughter has jumped in the pool, off diving boards, gone swimming… She has been able to do every single water activity because of this cover. We have had great success with the arm cover and would highly recommend!

My Daughter broke her arm last week. We were so sad all our pool and lake days would be over for the summer. This product saved our summer. We tried another cast cover that didn’t work well and cast got wet even for a quick bath. This cover works amazing. Arm completely dry while swimming in lake and pool and showering with arm submerged. Arm does get a little sweaty when hot out and on for long periods of time. We try to follow directions and take off every 30 min to give arm a break and let it air out. my daughters arm measurements were on the far end of a medium and bottom end for a large so I bought both sizes. we ended up using the medium. Recommend getting the smaller size for measurements if in between sizes. You want the upper arm to be snug so it doesn’t leak. Will recommend to anyone with a cast that can’t get wet!

I don’t write to many reviews but I feel compelled to write a review on this one. My 6 year old son broke his arm in the middle of summer during quarantine and ended up with a full arm cast. He was really bummed he couldn’t swim or do bath time the way he wanted to. We were doing the old school way of a trash bag with rubber bands for a few days, which lets me honest is not very effective especially with a 6 year old boy. his orthopedic surgeon recommended getting a cast cover off of amazon and we were a little nervous. We thought it would work in the shower but were a bit hesitant on allowing it to be submerged in water. We tried it out with a shower first and the cast was dry and then we moved to the bath which we got the same results, a dry cast. For the ultimate test we let him take it swimming and it worked like a charm. We were so worried when he was fully submerging the cast with the cast cover on under water, we were pretty convince it would leak a little. His cast was completely dry after about 2 hours in the pool (I did check it a few times throughout the time in the pool and had no issues). I did however size down, I got the small. I figured tighter the better but we didn’t want it so tight it cut off circulation or anything. The small fit our 6 year old (42lbs about 44 inches tall) just fine, but was a bout 2-3 inches longer but it fit perfect.Only down side is the very top of the rubber got a tiny hole but I think it was from when my husband was fighting to put it on ( it’s a bit snug causing it to be a little struggle to get on) and it got caught on something. But the hole is at the very top and it functions just fine with the hole, we just roll it about a 1/4 inch once. we have had it about a week now and we would recommend this to anyone who is stuck in a cast for a few weeks. Highly recommend!

Definitely MEASURE your child's arm before ordering this product. My son is 11 and I ordered the child's 4-7 size, which fit him perfectly. We had a waterproof cast, but you are still not supposed to submerge them in water for long periods, so I purchased this cast cover for extra protection. This product WORKS VERY WELL if used correctly - we figured out that you had to make sure the rubber was completely extended up the arm and smoothed out at the upper end. Any rolling or crimping at the upper end and the water tight seal may not seal completely. The rubber is TIGHT at the final 2 inches or so on the upper arm - no way around it. I'm sure it has to be this way to create a water tight seal. It takes some getting used to and is not 100% comfortable. My son had to take "breaks" from the product by removing it for 20 minutes or so, then he would put it back on. If you read the package insert, it actually states you should not wear it for more than 60 minutes without taking it off and resting the arm a bit.HOWEVER, with all that being said, this product is a godsend. How anyone could rate this product terribly based on comfort is beyond me. Your child has a cast and you want him or her to play in the water. It is not the ideal situation. But this product allows you to make lemonade out of your lemons. My son broke his arm in gym class TWO DAYS before we were supposed to go on an extended weekend trip to an indoor water park. The trip had been planned for months and involved another family. I was faced with the prospect of him having to sit on the sidelines and watch the other kids have the time of their lives while he sat without being able to participate. Thank goodness for Bloccs and Amazon 2-day prime shipping!! Thanks to this product, my son was able to PLAY at the water park....IN A CAST!!! That is incredible to me. He rode EVERY SLIDE (the glove part of the waterproof cover is sort of like a mitten - I'm not sure if he put his thumb in the thumb part or not but the rubber is soft. My son was able to easily grip the handles of tubes, pool ladders, etc - he had no trouble gripping or using his covered hand), he could SWIM, he could completely SUBMERGE HIS ARM in the pools, he had a BLAST. Was it perfect? No. Would he have preferred not to have had a broken arm for the trip? Absolutely. But that was beyond our control. THANKFULLY, this company had a solution for us. Our vacation was saved. My son had a grin on his face the entire time! As a mom, there is nothing better than that! I would highly recommend this product.
